- Epiq Class Action Services Canada, the company overseeing the government’s $900 million class-action settlement for survivors and victims of military sexual misconduct, has confirmed additional data breaches following initial reports, CTV News reports. Epiq initially said it mistakenly disclosed data of fewer than 100 of the 20,000 class members in a Feb. 8 breach and now confirmed another incident occurred on Feb. 24.
- Member of Parliament James Bezan has asked the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to investigate the hacking of crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo, which exposed information of donors to the Ottawa truckers' protest, Kelowna Now reports. Bezan said the breach led to doxxing incidents and targeted harassment.
