A group of advertising companies and publishers filed a complaint with France's competition authority, Autorité de la concurrence, against Apple over privacy changes it plans to roll out early next year in one of the first legal challenges to privacy measures on antitrust grounds, The Wall Street Journal reports. Apple's iOS software will require applications to obtain opt-in from users before collecting ad identifiers. The organizations behind the complaint argue few users will agree to tracking, making it harder to sell targeted advertisements.
