The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is seeking feedback on the use of data in advertising services, ZDNet reports. The commission is looking for input from social media platforms, website owners, app developers and media agencies “to assess whether these advertising and ad tech markets are operating effectively and, importantly, gauge whether they are working well for a range of different stakeholders,” ACCC Chair Rod Sims said. Submissions are due by 21 April. A preliminary report is anticipated by 31 Dec.
