- Turkey's government published the law on processing personal data in electronic communications in the official gazette, Resmî Gazete. The law will take effect June 4, 2021.
- Colombia's data protection authority, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, issued a fine of 72,923,136 pesos to Scotiabank Colpatria for not responding to customer requests to remove personal data from the bank's database.
