As we wrap up 2017, it's worth looking back at what has been a very busy year for privacy pros. Top of mind, of course, is the nearly universal effort by organizations to ramp up for the EU General Data Protection Regulation. But not everything in 2017 was GDPR. The role Brexit will play in U.K. privacy law and the deregulatory efforts of the Trump administration have prompted a paradigm shift in 2017.
