The emails and travel details of approximately 9 million customers of British airline easyJet were accessed in a late-January cyberattack, Reuters reports. The credit card details of more than 2,000 of those customers were also compromised. Citing COVID-19, easyJet CEO Johan Lundgren said, “there is heightened concern about personal data being used for online scams,” adding the airline is advising affected customers to be “extra vigilant.” EasyJet said it does not appear any personal information was misused.
