Almost half of affected patients had their data exposed in a ransomware attack of Greeley, Colorado-based Professional Finance Company, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
  • A hacker claims to have stolen data belonging to 1 million students from the University of Kashmir’s database, Pakistan Observer reports. The hacker declared the data he stole included student registration numbers and email passwords.
