The personal records of 3 million Italian UniCredit bank customers have been compromised in a data breach, Reuters reports. This is the lender’s third security incident in recent years, with this breach relating to a 2015 file that contained clients’ emails and phone numbers. UniCredit said the records contained “no details that would allow access to customer accounts or for unauthorized transactions to be carried out,” according to the report. It has not been disclosed how the breach occurred.
