Dipayan Ghosh, a fellow on New America’s Public Interest Technology team, recently spoke with Multichannel News about his role as a technology policy advisor during the Obama administration, his move to Facebook, how game theory could foster a marketplace model for privacy, and why he would like to be an "algorithmic ethicist." A computer scientist by training, Ghosh now finds himself focusing on "the intersection of privacy and civil rights, how privacy and anti-discrimination policy can be incorporated into algorithms." Editor's Note: Angelique Carson, CIPP/US, recently spoke with Ghosh for a new Privacy Advisor Podcast, which will premier this Friday.
