Lisa Sotto, head of Hunton & Williams’ privacy and security data security practice was recently re-appointed chair of the Department of Homeland Security’s Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee (DPIAC). She served a one-year term in 2012 as well.
“I look forward to continuing to work with DPIAC and the DHS Privacy Office in its important mission. Protecting privacy continues to be a priority, particularly in light of ever-increasing security risks,” Sotto said. Sotto was also recently named to The National Law Journal’s list of “The 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America.”
