With a waning notice-and-consent model still in the marketplace, Hoffman suggests that consumer education is a major component toward the accountability model. “There is no better network poised to navigate privacy cultures and raise the collective consciousness of privacy than privacy professionals,” Hoffman writes, providing a number of suggestions for privacy pros.
