An investigative report published in Wired suggests "the federal government is often the last to know about digital invasions of your privacy." Meanwhile, an InformationWeek report examines the recent Spokeo settlement, suggesting the FTC is attempting to enforce the differences between consumer reporting agencies and "people search" services.
