Data privacy concerns continue to demand the attention of world leaders. More details have emerged about plans to include Internet privacy on the agenda of the Group of 8 summit in France this year. The New York Times reports that French President Nicolas Sarkozy has enlisted a longtime advertising industry executive to help "organize a gathering of policy makers and Internet company executives" for a "first-of-its-kind meeting, dubbed 'G-8 du Web,'" to coincide with the G-8 summit, which takes place in Deauville, France, in May.
