The world's largest social networking site will soon make it easier for users to share their location data with friends, reports the New York Times. Facebook will launch a location feature next month. The feature, which has been in the works for about a year, will be made available to users on an opt-in basis, according to the company's privacy policy. The company will also release software tools for outside developers so they can offer their own location-based services to users of the site, the report states.
