The matter of privacy touches many different aspects of personal and professional life today, and protecting personal privacy is, more than ever, paramount to corporate culture and responsibility. Early adopters of this tenet thus far may have escaped the shine of the data breach limelight. Others have been slower to embrace this philosophy. This edition of Inside 1to1: Privacy explores the mentality behind why data breaches occur and how organizations can infuse the privacy protection mindset across the board.

And, just a few years ago who would have thought that a personal genetic mapping service and its attendant privacy implications would be available by mail order? It is truly a fascinating and ever-changing world.

What do these issues mean to you?  Is privacy infused in your company's culture? If so, in what ways? And what are your thoughts on the availability of retail gene mapping?  Write to us; we'd love to hear from you.
