Welcome, speakers!

Thank you for contributing to the IAPP Canada Privacy Symposium 2022. To help ensure the success of your session, please see the important information below:

Jen Clark, Programming & Speaker Specialist, will be your main contact at the IAPP during the event life cycle. Please reach out to Jen if you have any questions.

Please visit the Location and Travel page for more hotel options, plus travel and parking information.

Speaker Registration: You will automatically be awarded a complimentary pass to the event and registered as a speaker by IAPP Staff. Conference pass is eligible for Wednesday’s Welcome Reception on May 25 and all programming and events happening on Thursday and Friday, May 26-27. If you’re speaking at a workshop, your pass will also include your workshop on Wednesday, May 25. If you would like to add a training, workshop, or exam to your registration (additional cost), please contact speaker coordinator Jen Clark at jclark@iapp.org.

Dietary Accommodations: Should you require a special diet please contact speaker coordinator Jen Clark at jclark@iapp.org to indicate your needs before May 6.

Important Deadlines

Due now: Check the online schedule to see your session date and time.

Due now: Send us your headshot and a brief biography if we do not already have this on file.

March 31, 2 p.m. EDT: Attend speaker orientation web conference. You will receive an invitation with additional details from Jen.

April 8: Deadline for initial planning call with co-panelists and chairperson.

April 22: Send draft presentations to your chair and speaker coordinator.

April 29: Send special A/V needs to your chair and speaker coordinator.

May 8: Send final presentation to your chair and speaker coordinator.

Additional Programming Information
Need to make a change to speakers or presentation content? It is important to run it by us. Changes must be approved by IAPP to uphold the quality of our program and keep our publications current. Please contact Jen immediately if you need to make adjustments.
