Jesse Gordon received his BA (Hons) majoring in Political Science from the University of Saskatchewan in 2016. He is currently in the second year of his MA at the University of Victoria. While working on his MA, he has worked as a research assistant to Dr. Colin Bennett, coded documents for the Snowden Surveillance Archive, and through the Big Data Surveillance Research Grant he had the opportunity to work at the Office of Information and Privacy Commissioner of British Columbia. His current thesis research focuses on analyzing the public and political reactions to the Cambridge Analytica conflict.
