Marta Fraioli regularly assists relevant Italian and multinational companies in the privacy and data protection compliance process with applicable legislation. In particular, she contributes to the drafting of compliance procedures and guidelines, to the assessment of risks connected to the processing of personal data and to the appropriate implementation of monitoring and corrective measures. Additionally, she is in charge of the operational management of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) activities.



Graduated in 2016 with a dissertation in European Law on the changes related to the transition from Directive 95/46/CE to Regulation 2016/697/EU, she successfully concluded a work experience in EU project management in Brussel and Malta afterwards.



In 2017, Marta completed an internship at the Italian Data Protection Authority (GPDP), by collaborating in the Communication and Telematic Networks Department. Such parenthesis helped her acquiring specific competences, with regards to the impact of data protection principles on marketing activities as well as on the preliminary analysis necessary to take enforcement actions.



Junior Associate of Panetta & Associati law firm since 2018, she became Associate in 2020. Marta also obtained IAPP CIPM certification in 2020.



Speaker in various training courses on data protection and new technologies such as DLT and blockchain, she also frequently participates as a teacher in trainings organised by the Italian official IAPP partner. 



Among other publications, Marta had also the chance to contribute to the drafting of papers such as Giovanni Buttarelli’s manifesto, ‘Privacy 2030: A Vision for Europe’.
