About the IAPP

Owen McMahon has over 25 years’ experience in Financial Services across data privacy & governance, technology, sales and financial markets. In his previous role, Owen was Program Director, GDPR & Cloud Data Governance at ANZ Bank. ANZ is one of Australia’s largest organisations with operations in 34 countries, including the UK, France and Germany. Implementing GDPR in an organisation as complex as ANZ, has provided Owen a unique insight into the challenges faced by large and complex organisations dealing with the gold standard of data privacy regulation.
