About the IAPP

Mark DiFraia, is currently the Senior Director of Digital Credentials & Ecosystems for IDEMIA, leading its newest market solution, which transforms trusted and established identities into assets that will drive customer service operations across state agencies. His expertise has been largely shaped through his experience in building strategic partnerships and alliances that create new revenue streams and product opportunities. Mark joined the team in June 2010, to lead business development, marketing and product management for the Secure Credentialing Division of what was then L-1 Identity Solutions. His prior experience is largely rooted in the financial technology industry where he provided market and business development leadership across many areas of the trading business. Through leadership roles for financial firms and the New York Stock Exchange, Mark has built specific expertise in exchanges, networks, transaction management and other related disciplines. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mark has represented IDEMIA (formerly MorphoTrust) on the University of Texas at Austin Center for Identity as Chair of the Board of Advisors, has held multiple officer positions with the Identity Ecosystem Steering Group (IDESG) and is now the acting President. He holds a Bachelor degree in Finance and an Executive MBA, both from Suffolk University Sawyer Business School in Boston, Massachusetts.
