Tahera Yesmin
Tahera Yesmin is a PhD student in Industrial Engineering at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at University of Toronto, Canada. With a BSc. and MSc. degree in Industrial Engineering, Tahera Yesmin focuses on the application of Operations Research in healthcare sector. Her work involves data driven computational methods including simulation, optimizations, machine learning to evaluate and feasibility analysis of interventions, scheduling, capacity building and process analysis. Some of her major research projects include the analysis of impacts of new technology “Internet of things” at Innovation Unit of Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital and evaluation of privacy auditing tool at the same hospital. In addition, she has participated in many conferences and her works have been published in different renowned journals.
