Grace Chen
Grace is the Privacy Director at Alipay Singapore, in charge of handling all international privacy matters for Alipay’s parent company, Ant Financial Group. In her role in overseeing the group company’s overall international privacy portfolio, she has primary responsibility for spearheading the group’s international privacy work, which involves dealing with privacy issues that arise in regulatory compliance, commercial contracts and other transactions, among others.
Having worked on privacy and cybersecurity matters since 2007 as a private practice lawyer, Grace has extensive experience in handling both regulatory and transactional work in the privacy area. She was the author of the China chapter of “Getting the Deal Through – Market Intelligence – Privacy & Cybersecurity 2017, and an editor of the China chapter of Bloomberg Law’s Privacy and Data Security, listed as one of their experts in the privacy area (https://www.bna.com/chen-grace-m73014448743/), and was also ranked as a Data lawyer in 2018 by Who’s Who Legal.
