About the IAPP

Rani is a Head of Certification and Assurance at Crypto.com. She has over 15 years of audit and compliance, IT infrastructure facilities management and programming experience in various companies, including Royal Bank of Scotland, SGS and NTT. Rani received her bachelor’s degree in Electronic (Information and Communication) Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and MBA from University of Birmingham. With her extensive audit background, Rani’s passions include assessing and managing risk, identifying and evaluating controls, and effectively and efficiently managing the delivery of audit services. Over the years she has also completed designations as an IRCA Registered ISO/IEC 27001 Principal Auditor, ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Auditor, APMG ISO/IEC 20000-1 Lead Auditor. She has also qualified as an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
