About the IAPP

Sherri is an accomplished Information Technology Leader and Data Privacy Professional offering more than 25 years of career experience developing and managing IT services and Governance models for educational institutions, government agencies, and commercial organizations. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Pragma Consulting, LLC where she has built a reputation for handling difficult situations, people, and timelines and positively impacting project execution efforts, steering technology integration initiatives necessary due to mergers & acquisitions, and spearheading projects needing turnaround intervention.

As a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Sherri has helped numerous organizations develop and implement privacy programs that both satisfy regulations while optimizing operational efficiencies. She is a certified Global Business Services Specialist and has assisted organizations in moving beyond providing cost-reduction benefits to also delivering value and support at the strategic level.

At her core, Sherri is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Process Design Engineer (CPDE) and additionally holds certificates in ITIL v3, ISO 20000 and CMMI for Development. She received a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a Master of Science from Arizona State University.
