Linda Spencer is Chief Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel Privacy, Labor and Employment for The Coca-Cola Company. She is responsible for managing Coca-Cola’s global privacy, employment, and immigration legal teams.

 

Linda joined The Coca-Cola Company as Litigation, Labor & Employment Counsel and spent four years on an international assignment in Vienna, Austria as Intellectual Property Counsel for the Company’s Eurasia and Africa Group, managing a legal team responsible for trademark and IP issues in ninety countries. In February 2012, Linda returned to Atlanta to become Senior Managing Counsel, Labor, Employment and Benefits for the Company’s US bottling operations and assumed responsibility for global labor and employment in 2015. She was appointed Chief Privacy Officer in 2017.

 

Linda is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Conference Board’s Chief Privacy Officers Council. She currently serves on the Employment Litigation Committee of the US Chamber of Commerce and twice served as a Participant and Advisor to the United States Employer Delegation at the International Labor Organization annual conference in Geneva, Switzerland.  She regularly presents on privacy and employment topics at conferences in the US, Europe and elsewhere.

Linda serves as Vice President of the Board of the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence, which strives to meet the immediate and long-term needs of the diverse community of battered women and their children with programs that promote safety, compassion, connection, advocacy, and prevention.
