About the IAPP

Ping (Ally) Shen is Attorney at law at Beijing Dentons Law Offices LLP (Shenzhen Office), a globe law offices. She is a member lawyer of “Dentons Globe CyberSecurity & Privacy Group” . She holds Bachelor in Laws, Master in Economics and JSD in International Economics Laws. Ally has the CIPP/E credentials, a member of the IAPP Faculty. She is the Founder and Co-chair of IAPP, Shenzhen knowledgeNet Chapter.

She is the writer of  the book “Data Protection in EU and China”.

Ally has been practiced China laws for over 15 years. She also knows about US law. In her work Ally provides legal services on China cyber security & privacy laws and GDPR in China, including consulting, training, compliance with applicable laws, strategic cyber security and privacy resolution. She also practices areas of Banking & Capital Market (Domestic & Cross-border IPO), M &A, FDI, Cross- border transaction.
