Tracy Lachance, Director, Compliance, Access to Information and Privacy at the University of Ottawa, is a dedicated privacy professional with over 10 years of experience in the academic sector. From the outset of her career, she has been responsible for ensuring the University’s compliance with applicable privacy and access to information legislation and advising the University on all privacy related matters. She was responsible for successfully building the University’s Access to Information and Privacy Office and various privacy programs.  Tracy holds an LL.L. from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa and is a Certified Privacy Professional (CIPP/C). Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and her hobbies include cooking, traveling and practicing yoga.
