About the IAPP

Mr. Benjamin Williams LLM holds a degree in Labour Law from the University of Amsterdam and has been the Security Officer & Privacy Specialist at Philips Vitalhealth since 2019. In his role as Security Officer & Privacy Specialist, he is responsible for educating the development teams of healthcare platforms on security and privacy compliance in software development. In addition, Benjamin manages the ISO 27001:2013, NEN 7510:2018 certified ISMS.

Prior to employment at Philips Vitalhealth, Benjamin worked at Privacy Management Partners in the role of Privacy Technology Specialist where he managed the legal helpdesk for real estate agencies and developed and provided GDPR trainings for real estate agents and appraisers. Additonally, Benjamin was also responsible for privacy tooling deployment for the education industry.

In addition to CIPP/E, CIPT, and CIPM, Benjamin holds the following certificates:
