About the IAPP

Natalia Martos is Counsel at Pérez-Llorca. She leads the international "Privacy, IT / IP & Digital Business" practice. Previously, she was the Digital Legal Director and Chief Privacy Officer of PRISA worldwide. Prior to that, she held the positions of General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer of the Spanish social network Tuenti. She has extensive experience as lawyer, privacy master and regulatory responsible specializing in the Internet, media and new technologies industries, both in Spain and in the EU. 



Natalia holds a degree in Law from the University of Granada and a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Law from ICADE. Natalia is founding member of ENATIC (Spanish IT Lawyers Association), member of APEP (Spanish Association of Privacy Professionals) and IAPP member. She is author of numerous articles related to privacy and specialized publications, including the book "Law and Social Networks", where she participated as co-author. She is also a renowned speaker in Spain for topics related to privacy, Big Data and Technology Law. She has been listed in 2018 at The Best Lawyers in Spain in Technology Law category. In 2016, she was distinguished by the British publication Legal500 as one of the 70 best lawyers in Spain. She received also the civil merit cross by the Ministerio del Interior due to her collaboration against cyber terrorism. She has just graduated in the Executive Program of Exponential Technologies by the Singularity University, Mountain View.
