About the IAPP

Abhishek is a passionate privacy professional with over two decades of exciting professional career in both service and product based organizations across pharma, IT/ITeS, and hospitality industries.

During the past decade, he has been leading teams of highly skilled professionals ensuring organization’s compliance to global data protection laws and regulatory requirements through lifecycle of data. He has worn several other hats in past, where he successfully implemented sustainable risk management & controls program across complex businesses in CRM, F&A, HR and BFSI verticals.

He is also a certified Information security professional with expertise in areas of Information Security Management system (ISO 27001), Security standard for payment card industry (PCI DSS) as well as industry based regulations such as HIPAA Hitech & FFIEC.

He is a keen learner and spends most of his time reading, following leaders & influencers across industries and in exploring better and simple ways of doing things.
