Emily obtained her BS in Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas in 2015. She began her career at Walmart, Inc. in 2015 and moved into Privacy in July of 2016. During her time, she has assisted in creating an enterprise-wide PIA, partnered with Walmart’s Information Security team on reviewing technology deployments, executed a process to securely destroy damaged records, conducted privacy training across the organization, and was the lead on several workstreams for CCPA implementation.  

 

Emily is the Young Privacy Professional chair for the Northwest Arkansas region which is home to three Fortune 500 companies. When she’s not advocating for consumer choice, Emily enjoys playing tennis, reading a good book and hanging out with her dog, Nick
