About the IAPP

 Ercument ARI has got 21 years experience in information systems & security as CISO, director, manager, administrator, supervisor, team leader, consultant, auditor, project leader and manager in many companies and European Union Projects. He is certificated as CIPM, CGEIT, CRISC, CRMA, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, CEH, ISO 22301 LA, ISO27001LA, ISO20000 LA, COBIT F,  ITIL F, MCP. He has a B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering and M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineerin, additionally MBA in Finance and of the moment Data Privacy subjected dissertation stage at Ph.D. 

He was participated as ISO 27001 project consultant in 2009 &2010 for EU funded project at Azerbaijan Central Registry Agency.  In two international information security projects with George Washington University Executive MBA programme in 2016, he was selected as project manager which the projects were finally presented in Athens.

He is currently working as Data Protection Officer & Information Security Director at Teleperformance Turkey. He is also a board member in ISACA Istanbul Chapter and Part-Time Lecturer (Data privacy & Protection) in Bogazici University. He has participated in more than 15 information security and privacy conferences as a speaker and presenter.
