About the IAPP

Leonie, CIPP/E and CIPM is a Partner in the Privacy, Security & Information Law team at Fieldfisher LLP and a highly experienced privacy and data protection law specialist. She qualified as solicitor in England & Wales in 2000, and provides strategic and practical advice on the full range of data protection and privacy issues affecting business operations. Leonie has particular experience advising on privacy issues affecting new technologies and big data and other projects.  She has advised on data protection issues across the retail, premiership football, telecommunications, construction, media and financial services sectors over a period of 15 years and has recently advised extensively on privacy issues arising in an ad tech context.  Leonie has completed a number of successful secondments including for a major retail group and a global media brand. She has extensive experience on data protection audits and advises on global privacy compliance projects.   Leonie is a contributor to the Fieldfisher Privacy blog, has spoken on data protection and security issues in the UK and abroad and has provided specialist training in this field.
