Ari Ezra Waldman is an associate professor of law and the Director of the Innovation Center for Law and Technology at New York Law School. His research focuses on privacy, online social behavior, and technology design, with particular focus on how data collection uniquely impacts marginalized populations. He is a widely published scholar and his book, Privacy as Trust: Information Law for an Information Age, to be published by Cambridge University Press, is due out in a few months. Professor Waldman holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Columbia University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
