About the IAPP

Jason Sarfati is the Chief Privacy Officer and VP of Legal at Gravy Analytics, a leading location intelligence company that delivers real-world consumer intelligence to help organizations overcome today's biggest challenges. Jason loves all things privacy, but holds a particular passion for the unique privacy hurdles that are faced by the geolocation industry. Over the years Jason has become intimately familiar with the privacy implications and use cases for geolocation data within the advertisement, infrastructure, logistics, transportation, and entertainment industries. He also is a thought-leader on the subject of responsible government acquisition and use of commercially available data.   

Prior to joining Gravy, Jason worked as a Privacy Associate at Arent Fox LLP, and served as the Director of Privacy & Data Ethics for a mid-size consulting firm. Jason is also a proud member of the Advisory Board of the Future of Privacy Forum.
