Pablo Francisco Muñoz Díaz has worked as Advisor and Deputy Director General at the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation. Currently, he is Director General for Legal Affairs of Mexico’s National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI).

During his career, he represented the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation at workshops of the Latin America Legal Summit. He also was part of the team in the defense of Mexico before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in the case Teodoro Cabrera García and Rodolfo Montiel Flores. He has also been a legal advisor for news organizations at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and in some national judicial bodies.

He has been professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México; Facultad de Derecho at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and he is currently professor on "Ethics and Legal Reasoning" at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He holds a Master’s degree on Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and has studies on Commercial Law from the same institution. He also holds a specialization in Civil Law from the Facultad de Derecho, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

He is the author of the book "Freedom of Expression, limits and restrictions" and has written several articles on law, among which highlights his contribution to the “Obra Jurídica Encicolpédica” of the Escuela Libre de Derecho, particularly to the volume on “Private International Law.” Finally, from 2005 to 2006, he was columnist on the magazine “Debate Legislativo en Pleno.”
