About the IAPP

Santiago Gini currently works as a Regional Legal Manager for Latin America at OLX/LETGO. He manages the in-house legal team and outside counsel in 13 countries. Previously, he was a legal associate with Tanoira Cassagne; Richards, Cardinal, Tützer, Zavala & Zaefferer; Telecom Personal and Lescano Etcheverry.

 

Santiago is also a professor of Communications Law and Modern Contract Law at Universidad de San Andrés and was a professor of IT Law at Universidad Austral. He is the secretary of the IT Committee of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.

 

Santiago earned his LL.M. with Honors in Intellectual Property from Universidad Austral, Law Degree from Unversidad Austral and completed the Data Privacy Program at FLACSO University.

 

He is the author of several articles for specialized legal journals, books and daily journals on topics such

as Data Privacy and Internet Law and related.
