About the IAPP

Martin Twigg is a technology, privacy and cyber security at Fasken LLP in Vancouver.



A member of Fasken’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group, Martin regularly advises clients with respect to compliance with federal and provincial privacy laws. He assists clients with developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures, drafting and negotiating agreements that involve the handling of personal information, and preventing and responding to privacy breaches and cyber-security incidents. He also acts for clients with respect to access to information requests and inquiries before the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.



Also a member of Fasken’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice Group, Martin assists clients with the negotiation and drafting of agreements relating to the commercialization of technology and related services, including software and technology licensing agreements, master services agreements, software development agreements, maintenance and support agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and terms of use. He also advises clients in relation to various other technology and internet related legal matters, including compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Law.
