About the IAPP

Jackie Wilkosz is a Manager at Aleada Consulting, where she advises clients on privacy, data protection, and information security issues.

 

Jackie cultivates dynamic client partnerships to provide practical, actionable advice.  She has specific expertise in human resources privacy and building multi-jurisdictional compliance programs. 

 

Prior to joining Aleada, Jackie worked as Senior Privacy Counsel at Intuit Inc.  There, she was a key leader in the company’s global data protection compliance initiatives, driving cross-functional teams across the company.   She partnered closely with developers, designers, engineers, and product managers to advise on new software products and features, third party relationships, customer communications, and data sharing across software products at an ecosystem level. She also developed a comprehensive compliance and training program around tax data privacy.  Jackie also worked as an associate at large global law firms, advising clients on privacy, data protection, and technology transactions.  She worked with a wide range of clients, from multi-national corporations to start-ups, in a range of industries, including financial services and technology companies.

 

Jackie received her law degree from the University of Illinois, where she served as an associate editor of the Illinois Law Review.  She also received a Masters degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois and a certificate in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.  Jackie is admitted to the Bar in California and Illinois.  She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
