About the IAPP

Carine Botturi is Director, Strategy and Enablement in TELUS’s Data & Trust Office where she leads a team responsible for TELUS Privacy Strategy and implementation including Data Governance Framework, Privacy Training Strategy and Privacy Impact Assessment Process evolution. In her previous role as Director Risk Management, she led the development and implementation of an accountable Privacy Program for TELUS Health.

 

For 15 years, Carine has developed strong expertise in Strategy, governance and process improvements. She has mainly worked on transformational initiatives in telecommunication related fields, supporting change management activities involving multiple stakeholders from various organizations. She is recognized for her inspirational and inclusive leadership and her solid problem- solving capabilities.

 

Carine holds a Master of Politics, an MBA in International Management and completed the CIPP/C credential in 2018.
