About the IAPP

Dajana Eberlin, LL.M., is the Data Protection Officer and Senior Legal Counsel Global Privacy for Smaato, the global in-app advertising platform. With more than eight years of professional experience in operationalizing data protection and privacy-related laws in international companies, she now leads Smaato’s Privacy Management Program. She is responsible for the company’s privacy strategy and policies, for which she draws from her extensive experience in that field. Dajana advises and trains employees on GDPR and other developing privacy legislation on a global level. She also analyzes data protection and compliance risks in new business processes and IT systems.

Before joining Smaato, Dajana led the GDPR Implementation Project for a MedTech corporation with more than 27 entities in EMEA and served as the Group Data Protection Officer. Prior to that she worked as the Deputy Data Protection Officer of a European eCommerce company where she advised on consumer data protection and coordinated the international privacy program.
