Emily is an associate attorney at the law firm of McGuireWoods LLP. She practices in the area of data privacy and security. In this capacity, she has counseled clients regarding data privacy and security laws and regulations, identifying and analyzing data breach incidents, complying with breach notification laws, developing compliant advertising and marketing campaigns, developing internal data privacy and data security policies and procedures, and drafting privacy policies. Emily also works with corporate teams on data privacy and data security aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence.
