Lynn Larson, CIPP/C, CIPM
Lynn Larson is Senior Legal Counsel at BCE Inc. based in Toronto. Lynn provides guidance on privacy law to the Bell family of companies in the dynamic, fast-paced and competitive Canadian telecommunications and broadcasting landscape. Her practice focuses primarily on PIPEDA and includes consideration of diverse and timely privacy issues including data analytics, anonymization, artificial intelligence, connected car, IoT, consent, behavioural advertising, Smart Cities, managing incident response, access requests, employee privacy, the impacts of GDPR on Canadian business and many other (often unpredictable) day-to-day concerns.
Lynn is a Member of the Canadian Bar Association National Privacy and Access Law Section and holds CIPP/C and CIPM designations. Lynn is a graduate of Queen’s University (B.A. Hons) and the University of Western Ontario (LL.B). Prior to joining the Bell team in 2007, Lynn practiced law at the Ottawa offices of Stikeman Elliott. Lynn was called to the bar in 2003.
