KATHRYN “KATIE” D. STONE is an associate at Prince Lobel Tye LLP in Boston in the IP/Media and First Amendment and the Data Privacy and Security practice groups. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), Katie advises clients on international, federal, and state data security & privacy laws, regulations, and best practices.  She also maintains a diverse practice representing clients on intellectual property and media matters, including advertising, marketing and sponsorship issues, digital and social media agreements, and sports and entertainment law. Before joining Prince Lobel, Katie worked at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, as well as Cetrulo Capone LLP, where, in addition to her privacy and data security law practice, she represented Fortune 500 companies in business litigation, product liability disputes, and general civil litigation defense. Katie is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and Boston College.
