Manager, Enterprise Records Management

Mickey Clemons is the Senior Manager for Enterprise Records Management, a function residing in Corporate Legal and part of the Privacy and E-Discovery organization.  Mickey also manages the Lockheed Martin Legacy Program to ensure preservation of the Corporate history. 

In his Enterprise Records Management role, Mickey is responsible for the Corporate Policy on Records Management and the Corporate Records Retention Schedule, and for the administration and monitoring the Corporation's records management program. He is also responsible to select the offsite storage vendor (Iron Mountain); negotiate the vendor agreement with Global Supply Chain and serves as the primary Lockheed Martin contact with Iron Mountain.  A key aspect of his role relates to the establishment of metrics for records management program performance.  Mickey also supports a variety of privacy initiatives, primarily in the development of internal training courses, to include liaison with the IAPP for on-site training of the Foundations course and for multiple certification modules (CIPP US, CIPP/G, and CIPM) 



Mickey served as the Denver KnowledgeNet co-lead from 2013 – 2014.  He received his CIPP US in 2013 and his CIPM in 2013. 

Mickey graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Management and from the University of Wyoming with a Master’s in Business Administration.  Mickey is a veteran who served 5 ½ year on active duty in the United States Air Force as a Missile Maintenance Officer stationed at F.E. Warren AFB in Wyoming and Vandenberg AFB in California. 



Mickey has been with Lockheed Martin for 34 years serving in a variety of assignments in Space Systems, Enterprise Information Systems, and most recently Corporate Legal.
