Michelle Rosenthal is Principal Corporate Counsel on the Federal Regulatory Team in T-Mobile’s Government Affairs Office. She works on internal and external policy matters involving privacy, data security, and other consumer issues. Michelle interacts with regulatory agencies such as the FCC, FTC, and CFPB, and she works with others at T-Mobile to ensure that the company’s business practices are consistent with existing regulations and guidance. Prior to T-Mobile, Michelle worked for 6 years in the FTC’s advertising and privacy divisions. While there, Michelle worked primarily on privacy and advertising matters, including litigating and setting policy in the areas of deceptive advertising, online interest-based advertising, the definition and scope of personally-identifiable information, and other technology- and Internet-related issues.
