About the IAPP

Lorrie Ma has a passion for privacy and what it means for the modern, connected world. She has more than seven years of experience working on tactical privacy within Mobile, Data Protection and other consumer facing spaces as well as providing consulting and handling day-to-day operations for organizational level privacy compliance. Lorrie believes getting privacy right from a program and operational standpoint is key to achieving the balance between innovation and consumer delight. Lorrie is currently privacy & cybersecurity counsel for Uber Technologies, Inc., is an active privacy advocate in policy, is an IAPP designated FIP and maintains CIPP certifications in US/E/M/T.
