About the IAPP

Scott Zinna is currently a Director, Privacy and Information Governance within the Corporate Compliance department at WellCare Health Plans in Tampa, Florida.  In his current position, Scott’s focus is on creating a culture of privacy, information governance, and compliance through the promotion of policies, procedures, training, and an understanding of the regulatory environment as it relates to healthcare.  Scott has been at WellCare for 10 years. 

 

Prior to his current position, Scott’s experience consists of a mix of public accounting, private accounting, and internal audit for the financial services and healthcare industries.  Scott is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Long Island University.
