Scott Shipman
Scott R. Shipman has worked as an in-house attorney for over 16 years. He is currently the General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for Sensity Systems Inc. Having spent the majority of his in-house years at eBay, Scott is an expert in privacy, high tech, internet, consumer, retail, online and global ecommerce legal issues. Scott speaks frequently and testifies to regulators and government officials on privacy, data protection, and information security. Scott also teaches privacy and data protection at Santa Clara University School of Law. Scott works with numerous Silicon Valley start-up's as a director on the board, helping them build privacy into their businesses.
