About the IAPP

Lisa is based in London and has been the Global Data Protection Officer at CEB, a global best practice research and technology company, since 2012. As the DPO, she oversees data protection strategy and implementation of the company’s global data protection program. She has 20+ years’ experience in data protection, and specializes in interrelated legal and technology issues, including data privacy and security, Big Data and data strategy, global compliance strategy, international data transfers, incident response, and records retention.



Before going in-house at CEB, Lisa practiced data protection law at ZwillGen PLLC and Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal (now Dentons) in Washington, DC. Prior to her legal career, she spent 11 years as an information security consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton.
